Cielo y Chile on Wallisville Road
We're on Wallisville Road in east Houston, close to Highway 90. We have a second spot over on Sterling Green Boulevard.
The trompo
Get the pastor tacos. One guest told us it was the most succulent trompo they'd had outside of San Antonio, and we'll happily take that.
Handmade tortillas
Our flour tortillas are handmade, and they show up in the tacos and on the fajita plate. If you want something bigger, try the burrito.
Chilaquiles in the morning
Breakfast is chilaquiles verdes, tacos de harina with huevo con chorizo or huevo con tocino, and chorizo con huevo y papa. Come when we open and start there.
Salsa with the chips
The green salsa packs some heat, and the red is worth a try too. Ask for both.
